Hi everyone,
A great meeting yesterday. Carl´s guide Ka Ta Rang gave us a talk on the subject of guides. Followed by the usual Q&A with all sort of spiritual subjects being covered. Very interesting, very inspirational, and very informative. Thanks to Carl and his guide.
Our next meeting on 11th December will be on the subject of Tarot with Deborah Jane Sutton. The following week 18th Kevin has offered to open up the bar for us if people are interested in meeting up.. Please let me know if you would like to meet up on the 18th for a festive get together a mince pie and a chat.
As always we have been collecting during the year to raise money for the teenagers at the Benissa Home. Unfortunately, in the money-pot on the table at meetings we have only raised two thirds of what we have in previous years. There are ten children at the Home all of whom have been taken away from their families due to being abused in some way. The Home cares for the children including aftercare in finding them somewhere to live and work experience. Any donations would be greatly received however small.
Also on the subject of ´giving´ we have all been shocked and upset at the devastation from the flooding so near to us in Valencia. Kevin is working in conjunction with others in Moraira to take in any donations for the families who have suffered losing everything they owned. Kevin has been to see for himself and told me even after a month, there is no way of explaining how bad the situation still is in the affected area. The whole area even after a month is still in process of being cleared and families still need everything. Food, toiletries, cleaning materials, and of course toys for the kids. Marley´s phone number is 603 666 894 if you need to know when he will be at the bar to take in any donations.
In Benissa is a collecting point for animal foodstuffs. If you need the directions of how to find it let me know.
Also, I am told that the people affected by the flood are asking for bicycles, the collection point is Paws in Jalon. If you have a bicycle working order or in any state of repair that you no longer need please donate as people are making the bikes back to being roadworthy.
A few thoughts for the days ahead...............
"The most important thing is to enjoy your life–to be happy–it's all that matters." – Audrey Hepburn
"Love the life you live. Live the life you love." – Bob Marley
"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter." – E. E. Cummings
"Start each day with a positive thought and a grateful heart." – Roy Bennett
not spiritual, but oh so true...........
The only trouble with doing nothing is, you never know when you’re finished. Nelson DeMille.
Enjoy the rest of the week
Love to all
